Carlos Roque was born in El Salvador, he attended the vocational High School "Instituto Tecnico Ricaldone" and got his High School diploma along an Electric Technician Diploma in 1999. In 2000 Carlos Roque moved to the United States to attend Western Kentucky University.
Carlos Roque graduated from WKU in 2005 with a BS in Computer Science and Minors in Physics and Mathematics. During his time at WKU he became a member of the Golden Key Honour Society and UPE (International Honor Society for the computer and information disciplines).
While at School Carlos Roque also worked along side his Uncle Jim Roshan to create the International Association of Professional Event Photographers (IAPEP now SEP) a large photographic group that later became part of PPA. During this time he also was an integral part of the success of EventPhotoMarket.com.
In 2005 Carlos Roque received an internship at Express Digital, a software development company that focuses in the photographic business. Some of their products are the Darkroom line of software.
After School he has been employed by TheRoshanGroup where he is the CTO and currently develops integration software for various software packages as well as web development. Carlos Roque has also received Xerox Training on the iGen4 Digital press and is very eloquent on the line of Xerox Workflow management software, as well in the use of Duplo post production equipment and Roland Printers.
